It’s super sick how many black women in the US lose their life during childbirth.
this opens up a great point of how black women are more likely to die from childbirth than white women. and it’s most likely due to the experiments that j marion smith “the father of gynecology” saying that black women felt less pain. it’s sad it’s been internalized.
